Fun + Relaxed Family Photos in your Backyard
When planning your family photographs this year, have you considered not going anywhere? I know not everyone has an outdoor space where they live, but for those that do... your back yard is the perfect place for fun and relaxed family photos!
Why take your family photos in your backyard?
This family wanted to capture what their summer nights look like at home. Low warm sunlight drenching their backyard, where they have a net set up for badmitten games and large jungle gym to occupy their two pre teen kids. In a short amount of time we can reconstruct a handful of your favorite activities as well as creating some fun and relaxed family portraits with ALL of you in them!
You may not sit in a heap in the grass all together, but take 5 minutes to pile on each other and we can create some magic! And there is a high chance that your dog will want to join you in your cuddle pile.
Let your kids be kids!
Your kids will move on from any request pretty quickly, and that is just fine with me. I suggest where we go and then let it unfold as it will. Sometimes that means your youngest gets up and starts swinging on the jungle gym. And those moments, where you may think your kids are not "behaving", they are actually creating a dynamic and unique moment of your family that allows me to jump in and show you all in a different and fun way to do your family portraits!
Our time together can be whatever we make of it. This family prioritized being playful and including some of their favorite activities. It makes sense that on a normal summer night you might not fit in everything you want to do. But why not squeeze it into an evening with me! Having images of your family playing badminton, getting wiggles out on the jungle gym, playing cards and just being together, will be something to cherish for years to come.
